These days
when it comes to restaurants or cafes, you tend to order in more often (if you
live in a city that allows you such luxuries) rather than going out yourself.
The list of reasons behind that can be very inclusive. Say, for example the
time you’ll take to commute, not to forget the nasty traffic, the wait outside
the restaurant and then the wait after you’ve placed your order and then the
journey back home. Sometimes you’re plain tired and the cacophony at the place
might not calm your nerves. So again, when my hunger pangs came in knocking one
evening, I decided to order in!
This place
caught my eye as the menu was quite interesting. It showed the nutritional
information alongside each dish on its menu. I was quite intrigued at some of
the facts. I did not know how big their portion sizes are so I flipped through
some of the photos on their page and decide against ordering 2 dishes and stuck
to the shikari chicken with boiled vegetables. And God for that!
The delivery
time was 45 minutes which was super quick by the standards of local
restaurants. The updates on zomato too were very regular unlike some
restaurants where there’s no update between “order accepted” and “out for
delivery”. So that was quite refreshing. The food was delivered within the
stipulated time and the packaging too was quite nice. The one thing I loved
about the packaging was that it was microwave friendly so you don’t have to
empty the contents into another plate or bowl. You can just throw it in the
microwave without worrying about cleaning the dishes. So that has aa big thumbs
up from me. The seal too seemed seal proof or so it seemed but I am not very
sure. Quite aa study package.
Coming to
the taste. The boiled and sautéed vegetables very perfect with the crunch that
is required of them and weren’t at all mushy. The dipping sauce that
accompanied it was assumingly made out of mayonnaise and went perfectly well
with the veggies. It had all the veggies in equal proportions. Carrots,
broccoli, baby corn, zucchini to name a few. The chicken was crisp on the
outside and juicy and pink on the inside, which was exactly how it was supposed
to be. It was coated with a thick green sauce that stuck onto it for its life
which was made out of spinach and the combination was divine. Absolutely spot
on cooking.
This place
is a God-sent for people who are on a diet or have a gym routine or prefer to
know their food’s nutritional value or just plain love tasty food. In short, it
is a lovely new outlet that dishes out perfection. Touch wood. Since I don’t
want to jinx it. ;) Order today and see for yourself. Hope you too have the
same experience.
Bon Appetit!
